No fluff. No layups. Just straight facts and flagsticks.
Kurt Kitayama notches 2nd career PGA Tour win at 3M Open.
20 birdies, 3 bogeys on the weekend.

Letās just say if you werenāt watching Kurt Kitayama this weekend, you missed a man turning TPC Twin Cities into a pitch-and-putt.
After going full flamethrower mode on Saturday with a record-tying 60, Kitayama closed the door with a cold-blooded 65 on Sunday to finish at -23, barely edging out Sam Stevens (who now knows what heartbreak tastes like: probably like Gatorade and crushed dreams).
20 birdies in 36 holes. Thatās not golf. Thatās sorcery.
And if that wasnāt enough to get you hyped, he did it with his brother on the bag. Tiger had Stevie, Kurtās got bloodlines.
š¬ WYNDHAM AT THE WYNDHAM? LOL, NAH.
Up next: Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC. A classic old-school track that usually brings drama, last-chance FedEx Cup pushes, and weird humid vibes.
But you know who wonāt be there?
Wyndham Clark.
You literally have a tournament NAMED AFTER YOU, and you ghost it?
This guyās been dodging more action than a tee box on a muni par 3. After that locker room "incident" at Oakmont (you know, the one with the tossed 3-iron and the alleged meltdown over the playlist?), Clarkās been on a PR tour softer than his putting stroke under pressure.
Now heās skipping the Wyndham? Bro. Itās like if Augusta National was called Phil National and Mickelson said, āNah, Iām good.ā
Grow up, Wyndham. The locker roomās fine. You're the one still crying.
š Sedgefield Country Club Preview:
Donald Ross classic. Translation? Slopes like a waterpark.
Shorter track but rewards precision (and grown men who donāt run from tournaments named after them).
Look out for players grinding for that last playoff spotāthis is where heroes (and FedEx Cup bubble boys) are born.
š° Top Payouts at 3M:
Player | Score | Payout |
|---|---|---|
Kurt Kitayama | -23 | $1.51M |
Sam Stevens | -22 | $915K |
Everyone else | ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ | Try again, boys |
šÆ Tee Talkās Vibe Check:
Kitayama = cold-blooded killer
Sam Stevens = future bridesmaid
Wyndham Clark = certified locker room liability
š Whatās Next:
š„ Wyndham Championship ā Last shot before the playoffs. Drama guaranteed (unless your name is Wyndham Clark).
š Sedgefield Country Club, Greensboro, NC
šÆ Our Pick? Someone with gutsāand a caddie who doesnāt double as a therapist.

šŗ Course Beer of the Week: Warm Michelob in a Cart Cupholder
Thereās something deeply spiritual about finding a half-warm Michelob Ultra rolling around your cart cupholder on hole 14. Is it gross? Sure. But is it also exactly what you need before trying to cut a 6-iron around a pine tree like youāre Bubba at Augusta?
Absolutely.
Tastes like regret.
Performs like rocket fuel.
Would drink again.
